The plain-language version of how FundMyHope works, and what happens to your information.
Last updated: 2026. By using FundMyHope, you agree to the terms below.
FundMyHope lets people create fundraising campaigns and lets others contribute to them. We provide the platform; we don't guarantee the outcome of any campaign, and we don't vet the underlying need behind a fundraiser beyond the identity checks described in our withdrawal process.
You need an account to start a fundraiser or leave certain reviews. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you post under it.
You agree that your campaign's story is accurate to your knowledge, that funds raised will be used for the stated purpose, and that you'll keep your campaign reasonably up to date. We reserve the right to remove a campaign that appears fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these terms.
Donations are voluntary contributions to a campaign, not purchases of goods or services. We are not a party to the relationship between a donor and an organizer beyond facilitating the transaction.
Withdrawals are reviewed manually and require a legal name and government ID matching the organizer's account before funds are released. We may delay, decline, or request more information for any withdrawal request we can't verify.
Reviews should reflect a genuine experience with a campaign. We may remove reviews that are abusive, clearly false, or unrelated to the campaign they're posted under.
FundMyHope is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from a campaign's outcome, a user's conduct, or use of the platform beyond what's within our direct control.
We may update these terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Last updated: 2026. This describes what information FundMyHope collects and how it's used.
Account and campaign information is used to operate the platform — showing your campaign to visitors, letting you log in, and processing donations. Withdrawal identity information is used only to verify withdrawal requests and is not published or shared with other users.
Your campaign's story, goal, photo, and updates are public. Reviews you post are public. Your withdrawal ID information is never shown publicly and is only reviewed internally.
Data is stored with our backend provider and is retained for as long as your account or campaign is active, or as required for legal and financial record-keeping.
You can edit or remove your campaign's content at any time. To request deletion of your account or data, use the Contact page.
We may update this policy as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
